The Collins 75A-4 is a high quality
amateur band receiver covering the
frequency ranges of 1.5-2.5, 3.2-4.2,
6.8-7.8, 14-15, 20.8-21.8, 26.5-27.5,
28-29 and 29-30 MHz. It has a double
conversion, crystal controlled front
end for high stability and good image
rejection. It has a permeability tuned,
sealed master oscillator for accurate
dial calibration. It utilizes mechanical
filters for outstanding selectivity.
Other features include passband tuning,
crystal calibrator, mute line, noise limiter
and Q-multiplier. The radio's controls are
very easy to use. There is a backlit S meter.
All lights work. It requires a speaker.

This one has been partially restored. Several
capacitors have obviously been replaced. I have
listened to signals on it. No hum. But it needs
more work. Cosmetically it is OK.

- AMPHF - collins 30L-1 linear
- Hello everyone.
This one is a Collins lineal amp. It is unmolested(no mods) although the 811 tubes had been replaced with Svetlana tubes 572B(no more than 5hrs) making it easy in the P/S and they are more forgiving). Power supply still factory original. It loads 700+ watts of power with 80wtts drive. Cosmetically is about 80 percent. I have owned this amplifier for 25+years. Packaging and shipping is doable but it will cost probably a good 100+dollars, or you are welcome to pick up at my Qth in Brandon FL( willing to drive 100 miles from Tampa to meet,.) I will include a copy of the manual. The price of the unit is $650,00 plus shipping and packing. More photos available upon request. payment payPal friends& family usps M/O for check untill it clear. filters that were used in a Collins
75A4 receiver. They have been tested,
and both work well. These plug into
the 9 pin socket behind the front panel
of the 75A4. It is quite likely that
they can be used in other receivers as
well.
