- Hello Gang,
I am clearing out the last few items of my Collins gear. I have three museum quality late serial numbered Round Emblem 30S-1 amplifiers. Two of these are in museum quality condition, and the third has a relatively scratch about 12 inch long not to the metal on the right side.
These were last fired up about ten years ago and have been stored in a dry smoke-free environment.
Time for these to be granted a new home.
I am selling the two perfect specimens for $1,200 each, and the one with the scratch for $1,000.
I also have four NOS 4CX-1000 tubes that I will sell for $150 each.

- RADIOHF - FS: 275V regulator 4 516F-2 and PM-2 PS
- Due to old 1956 design of 516F-2, or PM-2 power supply for Collins KWM-2 (A) or 32S series transmitters runs on 125V AC power Voltage, the 516F-2 supply should deliver 275V Low Volt becomes 330V Plus minus during receive mode of KWM-2(A), vacuum tubes get 330V which will shorten life of tubes and cause extreme hot temperatures affect other parts. KWM-2(A)and 32S series transmitter get lot of heat problems. I have a solution to keep the LV to exactly 275V either transmit or receive mode.Using 500V MOSFET and series of Zener regulators,LV is now tightly regulated which helps keep the VFO with no drift and no audio hum as it works as ripple filter.The board is 22mm x 30 mm by size, made with SMD components and can be fit to the sidewall of power supply. - RADIOHF - Collins 75S-3B with SSB & CW filters
- SN 17256: Collins 75S-3B in good to very good condition. Asking $750, buyer pays shipping, discounted $50 if you come by Gatesville, TX and pick it up. Owned it for decades, rarely used it. Turned it on today and heard signals with only a six foot length of wire antenna. All controls and functions in working order. Full standard set of crystals plus 2.1 kHz and 500 Hz mechanical filters. Power cable is included. Radio could use a bit of dust-off and cleaning but I will leave that up to the next owner. Some rotary switch sections might like to have a shot of Deoxit to quiet them down. Aside from that I believe the radio still works as well as it ever did. No indications above or below deck to suggest that anyone who did not know what they were doing was ever in there with a soldering iron.
