Cover Photo is the unit powered-on when taken out of service when my Father(W6ZD) passed last August. Dad was an active Ham and he loved getting these vintage radios up and working at their best. This unit came from a non-smoking and no-pets shack. I will pour through all of his files and documentation to be sure you get all of what he collected regarding this unit.
Of course you understand that this is a vintage radio. Of course you know(or want to learn) the in's-n-outs of tinkering with these beauties. You understand that tubes sometimes need replacing. You embrace that troubleshooting is sometimes necessary and part of the ritual. This is all to say that I do not have the knowledge or space and testing systems to fully go through this radio - I'm a solid-state guy(KI6IBH) It is being sold as-is, where-is.

- POWERSUP - Collins MP-1 Power Supply W/ Peko Board
- Surplus to my needs is a Collins MP-1 Power Supply in nice cosmetic condition as well as a brand new Peko Radio Retrofit https://www.pekorf.com/Radio.html that replaces and upgrades most components with the simple swap out of the old board with the new. I have not yet installed the board. It comes fully populated with parts and ready to install.
The Collins MP-1 mobile power supply converts a 12 volt source to voltages required for the KWM-1, KWM-2 or KWM-2A. The MP-1 includes high voltage supply for the transmitter PA, bias, and low voltage for the supply for the amplifier. 5.75 x 3.75 x 11 inches 7.5 Lbs.
Peko Radio Retrofit upgrade kit: Fully populated board that replaces the old one with an upgraded design and new components.
