Radio works and transmit on all bands with up to 140 Watts. New meter LED. Very Clean inside. Cosmetically good. I am the second owner. Have had it for 20 years. Had it "tuned up" about 4 years ago by a Drake Expert.
Great audio reports.
Only one known intermittent problem. The display will give the indication of a DIGITAL READOUT issue of dirty pins. A very common problem with this radio. But, can be alleviated by turning the band knob back and forth. I have done the board pin cleaning several times over the years. No fun. Did not fix the problem this time. Now at my age with deteriorating dexterity. I have done my last tear down.
Anyway, anyone who wants a Drake TR7 knows what they are. More pictures available.

The control unit is in excellent condition ... almost like new. The exterior unit does show some wear since it was used for a short time and exposed to outdoor conditions. Overall I would consider it in excellent condition. Ask for photos to see for yourself.

- RADIOHF - DRAKE NOVICE STATION 2NT R2C JOHNSON VFO
- Drake Novice Station with Drake 2NT transmitter & xtal calibrator, R2C receiver with all band xtals, Johnson 122 VFO, all interconnecting cables, factory manuals for 2NT & R2C, reprint for the Johnson VFO. The 2-NT & R2C look really nice cosmeticly. The 122 VFO shows its age a bit, but operates flawlessly with little drift after a few minutes of warm up.
The station operates perfectly, the transmitter will put out full power, but I run it at reduced 75w novice power. Everything you need to put it on the air is there except your key, speaker, & antenna, it's a plug and play station. Being in my late 80's, I'm trying not to leave technical stuff for my family to sort out.
$460.00 for all, preferably picked up in Oakland CA. If shipped, will pack at my expense, the buyer paying shipping. Prefer PayPal family & friends or regular PayPal +3%. No warranty or returns, but you will not be disappointed. This rig is fun to operate and I always receive excellent signal reports.
