- MISC - Share Yaesu DSP-1 Optional Module For VR
- I got this as part of another unrelated purchase. Another is for sale for $249 by another eBayer. I will sell mine for much less because I cannot test. There is high probability it works but since I cannot guarantee it I am selling it for parts. Original box included.
This sale is for the DSP-1 optional module designed specifically for the Yaesu VR-5000 DC to daylight receiver. The receiver is a marvel of design in that it can receive a wealth of frequencies in all the major listening modes. We have one installed in each of our two family vehicles as it is the best receiver to enable us to listen to shortwave broadcasts while driving since it can pick up what we need to hear using an amateur radio 2 meter antenna for a receiving antenna. Other shortwave receivers are more prone to ignition noise and do not perform well using such a short antenna.
If you have the VR-5000, you may find this DSP-1 a challenge to locate for purchase.

- I am looking for a Kenwood R-5000 in excellent or better than condition. Any accessory filters with the receiver would be a plus as well as the AC power cord and manual. The receiver should be free of the “dots” that plague the display of some of the receivers as they age. I will need a photo of the radio mainly to confirm the condition of the radio. Tubes have all been replaced and the radio was sent to Kenwood for recapping and alignment.

- RADIOANQ - Zenith1950s receiver
- From the estate of KI5TE I have for sale a Zenith Transoceanic shorwave receiver. It is in excellent condition, the faceplates on it looks new and the insides look really good also. I have not tested it as it probably should be powered up with a variac, which I don't have. Everything else from this estate has worked fine, I have no reason to believe this wouldn't work fine either.

a Zenith H500 Trans-Oceanic short wave receiver. This radio is in excellent condition, with the battery pack, manual, and the built in antenna which is straight. It receives Standard Broadcast AM and shortwave. This model was manufactured from 1951 to 1953. The radio has seven bands selected by pushbuttons to the right of the dial. The 7 bands are:
540 kc to 1600 kc (555M to 188 M)
4 Mc to 8 Mc (75 M to 38 M)
2 Mc to 4 Mc (150M to 75M)
17.5 Mc to 18.1 Mc (16M)
14.9 Mc to 15.5 Mc (19M)
