- RADIOHF - Ten Tec Scout 555 ***needs repair***
- I have a Ten Tec Scout 555 that I picked up at a recent hamfest. It’s receiver works fine, S-meter and AGC working great, but transmit output is only 4 watts when testing on 40 meters. Could be operator error or maybe needs new finals. I made 2 contacts on 40 meter cw. CW tone sounds good on my nearby Kenwood TS-590SG. No testing on SSB, and no mike included. QSK is fantastic. Unit comes with optional noise blanker installed, and with original power cord. No manual, but it’s on line from Ten Tec. Module for 40 meters is included as shown in picture. Have internal pix of both top and bottom. $175 plus shipping, prefer PayPal but flexable. 73 Bill W9VC

- Nice physical and working condition 100W HF transceiver covering 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meters for SSB and CW modes. Full output on all bands, great receiver, good working display/controls. It includes a built-in VOX, noise blanker, and a RF speech processor. Operates with 120 VAC, no external power source required. eHam rating of 4.8. Tubes have all been replaced and the radio was sent to Kenwood for recapping and alignment.
Comes with Kenwood MC-50 desk microphone, optional external matching speaker, remote cable for linear operation, original TS-520 manual and extra set of final tubes. Radio dimensions: 13.2’ wide x 5.9’ high x 13.2’ deep and weighs 37.4 lbs. From non-smoking environment.
