This is a repeater made by Tait, which is a
top of the line company. It consists of a
T 835-20 receiver, a T 837-20 exciter, a
T 838-10 50 watt PA, and a T 359-01 speaker,
all mounted on a 19 inch rack panel 9 inches
high.

This unit is very well constructed, with
extremely good shielding.
-
The model numbers indicate that it covers
from 136 to 174 MHz, which obviously
includes 2 meters. It came from a silent
key, so I do not know what frequency it is
presently on, and any other history.

These units go for outlandish prices on E-Bay;
you can get this one for only $300 plus
shipping from Florida.

The Icom IC-720A is an all solid state transceiver
covering nine amateur HF bands. It features two
digitally synthesized 10 Hz VFOs. Enhancements
include RF speech processor, RIT, CW semi break-in,
noise blanker and VOX. The IC-720A has has a quad-
conversion, general coverage receiver that tunes
100 kHz to 30 MHz. Transmit on 160 thru 10 meters,
including the WARC bands.

Knobs for Collins 75A4 For Sale:

These knobs are for a Collins 75A4
receiver, although I am sure that
they can be used on other ham rigs
as well.

Both are made by Daka-ware, Chicago,
and appear to be new. The smaller,
1 5/8 inch knob, is still completely
sealed, so is new for sure. The
larger 3 inch knob is in a zip lock
bag, so I can not confirm that it is
new, but it certainly looks like it.

Both of these were in a box from a
silent key marked as 75A4 parts.
