- RADIOHF - KIWA MAP Synchronous Detector Speaker
- KIWA MAP external synchronous detector and speaker in excellent cosmetic and operating condition. Adds synch AM detection to most any general coverage receiver with 455 kHz IF output jack. The MAP provides low distortion reception with IF filtering (bandwidth of 6.9 and 2.9 kHz at -6dB), along with a unique Tone Tilt control and an adjustable Low Pass filter. The inventor claims that this ‘Synchrophase’ type detector offers true synchronous detection and that this circuit has been improved by KIWA using a process of carrier regeneration feedback. It is designed for low level signal detection to improve reception during periods of selective carrier fading or when the carrier is subject to noise. Can be used as an external speaker with a receiver's audio output providing rich clear sound. Sold "as-is" and sale final. No warranty is either expressed or implied. No returns or refunds.
