- It is a Japanese radio with the Japanese band plan specs, expect it must have been modified somewhat as it does all the ARRL band plan frequencies just fine. This is a Japanese radio and it only puts out 50watts on all HF bands and with 2meter where it transmits on 144-146 and 70cm from 430-440. The VHF/UHF power outputs are normal. That actually didn’t effect me much as I used a 2meter 440 mobile rig for that.
The FC-30 automatic antenna tuner works perfect except it doesn’t have the hardware to attach it to the side of the radio which didn’t matter as I sat it behind my monitor out of sight. This also includes the RT Systems programming software CD and programming cable (a $54.00 value on eBay) and the FC-30 connection cable.
As I checked on eBay for prices on these two items I found it to be an average low price of $908.00 and a high average of $1,020.00 so for $450.00 or BEST OFFER with free shipping this is a very good deal. PayPal only.

- I bought this 8 pin filter to modify and install in my FT-818, then ended up getting the stock 7 pin version. This filter is often marked or cross-referenced as a YF-122C or YF-115C depending on the specific plug-in board configuration. Key Specifications - Collins Mechanical Filter; 500 Hz bandwidth at -6 dB (2 kHz at -60 dB); 455 kHz Intermediate Frequency (IF).
