- Still Available: Icom IC-706MKII from non-smoking environment. Used very little as a backup to my IC-7000. Includes HM-154T microphone (new but could use a new cord), power cord, MB-62 mobile bracket, MB-63 remote head bracket, OPC-581 11.5' remote head cable, sticky mount for remote mounting the head that's never been used and a partial M-65 mount, I cannot locate the base for it. - RADIOHF - National NCX 5 MK II Conversion
- What a great old rig! This is the classic National Radio NCX5 with the factory installed MK II upgrade! Output power is 200 watts but needs some tweaking as it now puts out only about 890 watts. AM, SSB, CW transceiver on 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meter amateur bands. The 10 meter band is on four ranges. First IF is 3500 kHz to 4000 kHz, the second is 6020 kHz. Transistorized VFO with 2N706 and 2N2118 transistors. The carrier balance adjustment in NCX-5 is replaced in NCX-5 MKII by the carrier insertion adjustment. In the NCX-5 MKII, V10 and C7 are on module V501 near the VFO cover. An AC power supply, NCX-A, is on a separate unit which includes the speaker. DC/DC power- speaker combo is included.
