So this unit worked fine, except there was a 'bounce' when changing the freq. I tried replacing the encoder, and adding caps on the circuit, per articles I read. Didn't fix it. Then I found out the firmware version I was running was older, and new firmware has been reported to address the bounce. So I re-flashed the firmware, and it hasn't powered up since. I also managed to put a small scratch the screen. So I think a clever person could revive it, but I'm calling it FOR PARTS.
