AMPHF - Alpha 99 for Repair /or Parts Hi, First off...New Callsign of W8VMC here. Being sold for Parts. An Alpha 99 that will not transmit. The GOOD : Voltage is great, 3000 Volts will go into transmit Mode. The BAD: No power Output. Told by Alpha (They are backed up and want me to ship it to N4UQ. They said the symptoms indicate its probably the filament supply and needs new tubes. It had NOS Tubes from Array solutions in like 2016. Just stopped putting out power. WILL NOT SHIP! Please Do NOT ASK! If I wanted to ship, I'd probably have it fixed. I'll drive to drop off anywhere in OH, or Extreme Western PA! Or Pick up in NE OH available.
