RADIOHF - For Sale: Drake R8 with VHF Converter

I am selling my Drake R8 receiver with the somewhat rare VHF converter.
It is in very good cosmetic and electrical condition. The converter is the improved 2nd generation. The problematic audio output capacitors have been replaced.

This radio is very clean, with no signs or smell of smoke.

In addition to the optional VHF Converter, the original Drake R8 Owner’s Manual and shipping box are included. A pdf copy of the Service Manual can be provided via email.

$700 plus shipping. Original Drake box will be placed in an overbox to protect it.
