AMPHF - KF8OD AMP amp has a pr of BLF188XRs has a 1500w filter board has had W6PQL protection kit added which protects it from high SWR and overdrive . I normally run it at 40w drive and get 1300,1400 on 20,40,80and 500 on 15,17m and around 1000 on 12m and 800w on 10m with a good SWR and 40w drive. Mike KF8OD says it's around 13ys old. It can handle more drive with the padding in it now and will do more I just don't like to drive it that way.
