In addition to extra coverage around those 3 ham bands it also receives AM for the aircraft band and FM broadcast band. www.miklor.com measured the output of this model at 7.1 watts on 2m, 4 watts on 1.25 meters, and 7.9 watts on 70cm. - It has a nice color display, 2500mah LiON battery which can be charged with a USB-C cable ( included) so you can use your cellphone charger to charge it, and a solid feel and great audio. Feels more rugged than the original Baofeng UV5R series. - It comes with a drop in charger, 2m/70cm stock antenna for this model belt clip, manual, earphone, box, everything just like it was new.  - In addition to the stock items it also comes with a triband 2/222mhz/70cm whip antenna.  About 14.5 inches long with the SMA female connector on it so it will work with most Chinese HTs.
