AMPHF - AMERITRON ALS 600 SOLID STATE "like new" Hi, I have an Ameritron ALS 600 solid state HF amplifier. I got it from an older ham that had purchased it new as a backup for his Alpha. That day didn't come. So the amp and the power supply was put on the shelf. I got it and it truly is like brand new with no signs of use. This amp is no tune, you select the band you want and go.. Also, it has your back if you accidentally use too much exciter drive, or your swr is too high, it protects itself and in seconds with a flick of a switch your back on the air.. The amp comes in two units, the amp and the power supply.. This amp surpassed my expectations in operation and build quality as it really works very well.. No front panel peeling the cabinet is mint..
