It inserts in the audio line, between your rig and speaker, to add DSP. It has three band widths -- narrow, medium, and wide, and has filters for Noise Reduction, CW, or SSB. - If your rig lacks a CW filter, this unit will add that, with a CW filter about 350 Hz wide, centered on 750 Hz. - It requires 12 V DC to operate, and produces up to 6 W of audio. - This unit operates as it should. If you expect DSP the same as built in to a modern, high end rig, this is not it. - This one looks really great, with no scratches or defects.
