AMPHF - FOR SALE Ameritron AL-80B HF Amplifier Ameritron AL-80B HF Amplifier EXC COND For Sale. I'm the first owner and have had it about 2 years, never used over 500W output. Includes original boxes and manual. PDF Manual and specs are here . I will ship at buyer's expense, but if you're local can meet up somewhere in the Nashua-Keene (NH) area. The tube (3-500Z) has been seasoned well and never abused. I'd guess 250-300 hours total on this one. They have a service life of 1000-3000 hours. You will need a properly sized tuner (based on your power level) between this amp and the antenna. This would be a good intro for someone interested in exploring HF higher power. I'm moving into solid state for all my PA's. $1000 firm + shipping. Will ship in the original two (2) boxes.
