This is the writeup from Palstar: DL1500 Description Specifications Manual Price: $295.00 BUY NOW Model #: 9001700 The Palstar DL1500 dummy load for amateur radio is capable of handling 100 Watts "barefoot" power levels for 10 minutes, and 1500 Watts for up to 10 seconds. A custom designed Hyperbolic cone permits the the DL1500 to operate at up to 500 MHz (although there is some loss in power handling capability above 30 MHz). The DL1500 is air-cooled, so there is no messy transformer oil to deal with. The DL1500 is an ideal simple, basic dummy load for the ham who does not need the capabilities of our much larger Palstar DL2K and DL5K dummy loads.
