RADIOANQ - Looking for Information Brandes Headset

I have an early pair of Brandes Headset ear speakers. They have an odd headband. It I s made from coat hanger wire. One might guess that this brand was home made. However, the work is so precise that I find it hard to believe anyone could have home brewed them. Does anyone have any knowledge of these?
