TEST - Superior Instrument TV-50 RF Sig Gen Vintage vacuum tube RF signal generator covers 100 kHz - 180 MHz. I tested valid output on bands B,C,D,E using an HF receiver, but no capability to test band A or band F. RF output signal has strong 60 Hz modulation sidebands - electrolytics in power supply should be replaced. Internal 400 Hz and variable frequency AM modulator do not appear to work - external modulation not tested. Unit has 2-wire AC connection - chassis is at 60V AC due to RF decoupling caps across each side of AC line to chassis - it was designed that way. $25 plus actual cost of shipping.
