Tx audio sounds great with M-70 Yaesu desk mic or better, studio mics via the heil cable are good. Receive audio is as good as it gets.. It definitely has that quiet receiver this model is known for. Impressive noise reduction and VC tune IMO. I use it now with a junk antenna at my 2nd loc in the desert and regularly hear stations on 40 & 80m that my friends can't. Why selling?? Time for me to move on..Actually, I still enjoy operating the vintage tube type rigs more. This thing has automatic everything. Have fun. 73!
