ANTETUNE - Display Unit for Elecraft's KAT500 The top line Displays the mode of the KAT500. A=AUTO, M=MANUAL, B=BYPASS. The selected antenna. Either 1,2,or 3. Shows N if the tuner is not in the bypass mode. It will show the letter B if the tuner is manually placed in Bypass. It will also show the letter B if the VSWR is below the Bypass VSWR threshold set with the KAT500 utility. Center is the amount of capacitance applied. Shown as pF. The last set of numbers is the VSWR after the tuner has gone through a tuning cycle. The :1 is implied and not shown. The bottom line State of the tuning circuit. Shown as either a CL network or an LC network. Amount of inductance applied. Shown as nH. The last set of numbers is the VSWR without the KAT500 inductors or capacitors in the RF path. The :1 is implied and not shown. NO COMPUTER HOOKUP NEEDED The DDU will poll the KAT500 and display screen data changes only when the KAT500 gets new data either from a command or manual tuning.
