RADIOVHF - ICOM IC-R100 Receiver-Parts or Repair Compact wideband receiver was clean and sensitive reception, but did not store presets. Backup memory battery (quarter size CR3032 with solder tabs) is located behind the display panel, held in place by adhesive and difficult to remove. I tried fitting a new battery to the inside of the cover, running leads to the solder pins but battery discharged. Also, a tiny machine screw for the front panel may have wedged under the PC board.
