RADIOANQ - For Sale: Heathkit HR-10B - $40 Bought this receiver as working / unmodified. It does work some, mostly on AM, but the BFO/AVC circuits have been modified; S-Meter does not work due to the BFO/AVC changes. The 6X4 rectifier has been removed and replaced with an AVC module with a 12AT7 tube. I have no schematic for the changes nor have I been able to find any info about this modification. It also has a solid-state rectifier. A prior owner made these changes, but has also refurbished the chassis and it looks brand new. The Front face is near perfect with some slight scuffs on the right top corner panel. I was looking for a unmodified receiver, and was told that this one was, but it wasn't true. Sure wish I could always get some truth when buying used equipment. I am asking $40 + shipping, which I think would be around $40, but not to the west coast. I have additional pictures available of the inside top and bottom chassis and also of the module.
