AMPHF - Ameritron AL-80B I just acquired a 2022 build date AL-80B thats excess to my needs. I bought it to help a friend. Wired for 240 v and the 10 meter mod will be done shortly. I had the cover off and forgot it had never been done ? Looks like new in and out but it has a transformer buzz/humm more pronounced when tuning and CW mode but its there. It functions fine and puts out ample power. At this price with a good tube its still a great deal. New tubes are 350.00 and up now. I dont have the factory box and I am looking at the possibility of shipping but its going to be expensive. I do have a box for the tube . Pickup in Jackson,MI and I may entertain an hour one way trip to deliver to or near you. It comes with an ARB 704 interface (really not needed ) and the factory manual. I have tested it and it works fine . Typical 80B output . 1000.00 takes it .
