Decided to install Kenwood SO-3 TCXO to make it perfect; but could not calibrate so rig returned to original factory condition by disconnecting SO-3 and reconnecting base jumpers, works as new. You are welcome to try calibrating the TCXO by following the Kenwood manual procedure. Kenwood SP31 speaker and connecting cable.
