I have restored and repurposed the Plantronics product for amateur SSB/AM use. I originally provided these for some severely handicapper hams. I am amazed at the transmitted audio quality and fidelity. The microphone is noise cancelling. The wireless headset utilizes the transceiver’s VOX control. Installation is simple only requiring VOX adjustments, Microphone gain and compression level. MISC - Bunnell double speed sideswiper key: Bunnell double speed key, type W, Cootie Key, very good condition. Works great.

The key looks to me as if it were in a museum. It is an American original, used when telegraph operators would get 'glass arm' (carpal tunnel) when operating a straight key. This 'Sideswiper' is also called a 'double speed' because the operator could go twice as fast as a straight key. It has a plexiglass cover (not shown) which has no exit for the wires, as it was obviously for display. I took it out of the case, but the cover and wooden base are included in the sale. There are enough letterings left after years of being polished to affirm it is a Bunnell (above shorting bar in this picture).

To the best of my knowledge, these were produced 1906 to 1926.
