RADIOVHF - FS MOTOROLA 40 W UHF M1225 MOBILE: FOR SALE: Motorola 4 channel, 40 watt UHF M1225 transceiver. Model M44DGC90E2AA. Spec'd at 450 to 470 MHz, but this radio will program and work on the 440 MHz 70 cm ham band as well as GMRS. Currently has 446.000 and 462.750 MHz simplex programmed into it. Has programmable scan, PL/DPL, WIDE AND NARROW BAND operation. Two programmable option buttons. Rear accessory jack provides optional I/O ports to the radio.

The Radio Shack DSP-40, 21-543, is an
external DSP unit that can be added to
rigs that lack DSP features. It inserts
in the audio line, between your rig and
speaker, to add DSP. It has three band
widths -- narrow, medium, and wide, and
has filters for Noise Reduction, CW, or SSB.

If your rig lacks a CW filter, this unit
will add that, with a CW filter about 350
Hz wide, centered on 750 Hz.

It requires 12 V DC to operate, and produces
up to 6 W of audio.

This unit operates as it should. If you
expect DSP the same as built in to a modern,
high end rig, this is not it.

This one looks really great, with no scratches
or defects.

MISC - "Blitz Bug" Lightning Protector FS: Blitz Bug" Lightning Protector For Sale:

I am fairly certain this is a Cushcraft LAC-1.
There are no markings on it to confirm the model
number, but it looks like the Cushcraft "Blitz Bug".

It is used in your coax transmission line to protect
against lightning and drain off static crashes.
Of course it will not protect against a direct hit,
but it will help in most cases.

This one has the silver plating tarnished, but it
still functions well.

It has an SO-239 on one end and a PL-259 on the
other end (female UHF on one end and male on the other).
