MISC - Wireless remote Headset for Icom: Offered, for your consideration, is a wireless headset with microphone and earphone. I have restored and repurposed the Plantronics product for amateur SSB/AM use. I originally provided these for some severely handicapper hams. I am amazed at the transmitted audio quality and fidelity. The microphone is noise cancelling. The wireless headset utilizes the transceiver’s VOX control. Installation is simple only requiring VOX adjustments, Microphone gain and compression level. Included is the Plantronics device, prewired 8-pin microphone connector, headset, earpiece, microphone and instructions for use. This device will work on virtually all Icom HF transceivers that use the 8-pin round microphone connector. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Heil HM–12 Microphones exhibit very natural audio response from 80Hz – 14 kHz. The traditional Heil +4 dB peak centered at 2 kHz gives the new HM-12 excellent voice articulation balanced with clean, clear low-end response for producing high quality AM, FM or SSB signals.
These microphones feature a ‘soft touch’ PTT switch, wired to pins 3 and 4 for transmitter control. Microphone audio signals are fed to pins 1 and 2 of the four-pin XLR. Heil HM -12 Microphones use the CC-1 series cables and feature an internal foam windscreen.
