3-500ZHFLinear Amplifier: I am downsizing due to loss of eyesight. My Homebrew amp I built over yes must go. It originally used a 4-400, and still could, but I converted it to a 3-500Z. The tube is in very good shape. Tuned input.
It puts out 400 watts, with 600 watts input. 2000 volts at 300ma.
The power supply is newer. Hardly used.

I am an extra class since 1968, an EE professional engineer and an ex-ET in The Navy.

The Yaesu FL-7000 is a completely solid
state HF amplifier covering 160 thru 10
meters, including the WARC bands. It
includes a very heavy duty power supply
in it, operating the final transistors
at 48 Volts DC.

It has two very large fans that provide
plenty of cooling and are relatively quiet.

Although it has an automatic antenna tuner
built in, it is recommended that the tuner
NOT be used.

It does operate full break in (QSK) on CW.

Cosmetically, it is very good. It does have
a couple very, very, very minor scratches
that you can find if you look just right.

Electrically, it produces full power, and
works as it should.

This amp is a brute, which means it is very
heavy -- 66 pounds before packing for shipping.
That means that pickup near Ocala, FL is very
desirable, but I can ship it if you are willing
to pay the price.

SB-230 for sale: Hello:
purchase this amplifier from a fellow that had it for a while, I have seen that amp working before and was producing about 475 watts with 75 watts in, but the fellow wanted more output and decided to replace the caps in the power supply trying to get more output(yes there is HVDC) ,dahhh.
well, I Decide to give it a try, I apply power on, NO SMOKE, HV was reading ok 2100vdc but meter went dead and no output.. no time to apply drive power..
I am not able to work on it..
everything is there, covers, feet looks very nice for the age!
I will sell it for parts!!! as is!! no returns..
