FOR SALE: SPE-Expert 2K-FA Amplifier: I have an Expert 2K-FA amplifier for sale. It has an output of over 1.5kW with not much drive power. It has always given me good service.
The amplifier has a built-in power supply and automatic antenna tuner. It has automatic antenna switching with six antenna connections. It has two exciter inputs, and accommodations for an additional SO2R antenna. Output levels are switchable between Low (500W), Med (1kW), and High (1.5kW+). The amplifier can be automatically controlled to turn on when you turn your radio on. The amplifier weighs 65 lbs.
The current model of this amplifier costs $7,695 through Main Trading Co. I am asking $4,100.
