Amp Supply LK-500ZA: LK500ZA 160-15 by Amp Supply. The amp has tuned input for solid state radios, 2 3-500 Eimac tubes, original manual, currently wired for 220v but can be wired for 110. The amp comfortably puts out 800 watts cw key down with 45-60 watts drive. I have not pushed it any further. (According to the manual, "TYPICAL OUTPUT: 1500 Watts on SSB, 900 Watts CW) When I got this amp 2 months ago it only worked on 160 meters. In checking it out, I discovered a burned out wafer in the band switch so I replaced that wafer with a new one and the amp came back to life with one exception...80 meters. I believe there is a problem with the tuned input circuit for 80 (my rig shows high swr to the amp on 80) and I'm ready to pass this on to the next set of hands to fix that. The only other issue is that the meter incorrectly reads the plate voltage at 1000 volts. In reality it's running between 2700-3000 volts as it should. The meters are accurate for plate and grid current.
