FOR SALE Ameritron AL-80B HF Amplifier: Ameritron AL-80B HF Amplifier EXC COND For Sale. I'm the first owner and have had it about 2 years, never used over 500W output.

The tube (3-500Z) has been seasoned well and never abused. I'd guess 250-300 hours total on this one. They have a service life of 1000-3000 hours.
You will need a properly sized tuner (based on your power level) between this amp and the antenna. This would be a good intro for someone interested in exploring HF higher power. I'm moving into solid state for all my PA's.

Recently serviced and tested. New vernier drive on plate tuning control. I've had this for quite a while but not really sure how long. Used it with a variety of radios the last one being an IC 7600. Power supply has been rebuilt with new caps and Harbach soft start.
