******OLDER AMPLIFIER WANTED******: Ok. Here we go again. I'M STILL LOOKING for someone who has an older HF amplifier that they could stand to part with. Maybe an old candidate for a restoration that they just never got around to doing, or perhaps just an old amp that's been replaced by a bigger one, and just never gets used anymore. I'm kind of "newly retired" and on a fixed income now, and looking for someone that could help me get an amp without spending big dollars. Unfortunately, I just don't have it like that anymore. Even an old solid state amp would be great, as long as the finals are ok. Just looking for about 400 watts. Nothing big, just enough to "give me an edge" in a pile up.
