Palstar LA-1K HF+6M Amplifier: Up for sale is a very nice Palstar LA1K LDMOS amplifier. It will easily do 1000 watts PEP. It is a very nice unit that sells for around $3900 new if you can find one. This includes a power cable for 240 volts (it will run off 120 volts but I don’t have that cable) and a copy of the manual. It’s made by hams for hams in Piqua, Ohio and is a current production product. My only reason for selling is because I’ve put an Icom PW2 into service. Price is $2750 plus $75 shipping. Pickup preferred or meet with 100 miles of Fort Wayne, Indiana but I would ship. It’s not very heavy, 27 pounds. No PayPal, bank check, postal money or cash only. FS: Heathkit SB-220: Time to make room for other "stuff" For sale is my SB-20, an outstanding amplifier. Tubes are not new but still run a cool Kilowatt + into a 50 ohm dummy load. Harbach power supply and metering board conversions have been done and everything is working just as an operator chasing a rare dx contact would hope. This amp has seen limited use over the past 12 months but is routinely used each month "just because". Faceplate is clean and cabinet has no dents, dings and no flaky paint.
