W8EK, Ken Simpson - Do Not Purchase From: Purchased meter from him, received it broken due poor packaging. Sent pictures of broken meter with box problem. Still not provided refund as says out-of-his-pocket and will not do anything until he is paid by USPS. Ludicrous since it is out of my pocket and his problem is with USPS and not mine. He wanted the meter back at USPS request - hard to believe. Sent back, received a payment for shipping only labeled full refund, Claims negation (never heard of) with no contract where it is clearly still an argument between him and USPS. This is Fraud and theft. Bank said do not accept payment as they looked over paperwork and would consider this to be Fraud and Theft. He has mixed up requirements of seller to buyer with seller and USPS as these are both completely separate. Any business will either replace or refund for broken item.Do not deal with this individual due to problems he causes requesting refund. Apple gift card: Hi all, I was attempting to purchase a radio from Richard Ewing, KO7N. I was to send him the last final payment of an Apple $25 gift card. It's a long story, but suffice to say he didn't keep his agreement. So hams beware, this guy is nothing more than a scammer. He has you sending him money and then breaks his agreement with you by asking for more money. Anyway, I have this unused Apple Gift card which I will send to anyone who pays me the $25. i have pics that I can send to your phone showing this is for real. The card itself has not been scratched off. The package has been opened to take pics of both the package and card.
