FS: Johnson Viking KW MATCHBOX: Offering for sale my E.F. JOHNSON VIKING KILOWATT MATCHBOX. These vintage antenna matching units are the ultimate in power handling capability. Built in an era when a "KW" was full kilowatt, with edge wound inductor and wide spaced capacitors, they will match ladder line, coax, and end fed antennas. There are no signs of arcing on the capacitors. The built in antenna relay works fine but has been rewired so that it is not needed. Perfect for todays transceiver/linear amplifier combinations. Simply moving 2 or 3 wires on internal terminals will restore it to the original configuration. At sometime in the past someone had added an additional SO-239 connector to the rear panel which is no longer there. Email for additional pictures if interested. Here is a chance to get one of the best antenna matchers ever made for only $195.00 plus shipping. I accept paypal, USPS money orders, certified funds, cash, or personal check (hold for clearance).

National NCX-5 MK 11 /W Power supply: National NCX-5 MK II $350 W matching power supply in kinda sorta working
The radio receives, and the radio transmits , The transmitter puts out over 100w on 80m down to maybe 60 or so on 10m. It is in need of an alignment as the receiver is sensitive on the CW portion of the bands and the phone portion. In the CW portions, it's actually a pretty hot receiver. RF gain control is scratchy but works
. The part I could not get dialed in was the rx/xmt alignment. xmt frequency was always off by maybe 300 hz from receive. This is a known issue with these radios and can most likely be overcome by someone with the proper knowledge.
The power supply works as it should.
