HAMMARLUND SUPER PRO SP-400 W/P.S. RA-94: Trying to thin the herd. XYL says to buy a radio, I must sell one! Going to NEARfest and want that option!
Anyway, this Super Pro is, IMHO, in very nice condition for its age. It was completely recapped and aligned about 25 years ago.I put it in storage about 10 years ago, still working beautifully. I just tried it, and it isn't working now. Seems to be the oscillator section. I have not so much as checked the tubes, so may be as simple as that, but no guarantees! Sale includes the very stout military ra-94a power supply and interconnect cable. This is a fantastic AM receiver, but I just have too many, and too little time for them all. Really too heavy to ship, but can make arrangements to transport for fuel $, or can bring to NEARFEST free if payment has already been made. Cannot find the manual, but readily available on line. More pics available.

I have a solution to keep the LV to exactly 275V either transmit or receive mode.Using 500V MOSFET and series of Zener regulators,LV is now tightly regulated which helps keep the VFO with no drift and no audio hum as it works as ripple filter.The board is 22mm x 30 mm by size, made with SMD components and can be fit to the sidewall of power supply. Hammarlund HQ-170: For Sale is a Hammarlund HQ-170 with manual copy. All functions seem to work. A new Hayseed Hamfest filter cap has been installed. It's not a pristine radio but works. It shows 60 years of "patina" in spots but at the 2 foot view looks good. The plastic over the clock option hole has a crack but it's not very noticeable. I'm asking only $90 for it. AS-Is. Pickup in SE Michigan is free, or I will meet within a reasonable distance, say 100 miles. Shipping is possible but if you've checked rates lately it will be crazy expensive.
