VFO BC-458 1-5 mhz: I have a converted BC-458 which a local ham used for an 80 meter VFO
I tested it and it throws out a very low level signal. The dial says 1 to 5 mhz. I hate to trash this if it could be used or shelved by a collector. How about 10$ bux plus shipping. Located in ne Pa. It was returned to me saying power output was only 4.6 watts out,and SWR showed high.
I am not sure what happened between here and there,but I am now discounting it ,as you will have to troubleshoot.
