 TOWER - Rohn Single Drive-In Base Plate SDB25G
- Here's another useful item from a recent ham radio estate clearance effort. I was able to acquire this base from a 20' Rohn 25 tower (there will be a separate listing for the tower).

It is in great shape, no rust or defects. I cleaned it up visually (washed and brushed it), and then added a good coat of Rust-Oleum Cold Galvanizing Compound spray.

It seems that everything with our hobby is ridiculously expensive. DX Engineering carries this base plate for $435.99 as of 12/5/2025.

This model is very well documented in multiple places so I won't go into a long discussion about the capabilities and features here. This particular 3444 is in excellent condition and has been fully refurbished and is working as it was designed to. It was owned since new by 2 Commercial Broadcast Engineers. The 3444 will even test a lot of Transmit tubes like a 4CX250B, 572B, 811A etc. This WILL come with all the original documentation and accessories. The price is $1250 on a pickup basis here in the Denver CO Metro area or plus very careful packing and shipping. The carrier and service would be up to the buyer.
