- TOWER - Rohn Single Drive-In Base Plate SDB25G
- Here's another useful item from a recent ham radio estate clearance effort. I was able to acquire this base from a 20' Rohn 25 tower.

It is in great shape, no rust or defects. I cleaned it up visually (washed and brushed it), and then added a good coat of Rust-Oleum Cold Galvanizing Compound spray.

It seems that everything with our hobby is ridiculously expensive. DX Engineering carries this base plate for $435.99 as of 12/5/2025.

- This radio has gotten very little use (I spend the majority of my time on HF).

I bought it for its outstanding reviews and very wide band reception. It does deliver as promised. But since I don't use it, there is no reason for it to just sit on my shelf. Now its time to sell this radio to someone that will use it.

This is another antenna that we rescued from a ham radio estate a few weeks ago. All parts are there, and it has been reassembled on my driveway for this picture. It has 12 elements and is 19' 6"long (end to end). I will need to break it down for shipping, unless local pickup occurs (my preference).

Do a lookup on DX Engineering for 2M12, and you will be surprised the cost of this brand new. Its the first antenna I've seen with a perfect 5.0 rating.

I'm not interested in 2m myself, but this would be a superb 2m antenna for someone. This antenna is still available from the vendor, as well as replacement parts, etc.
