- AMPHF - QRO HF3KDX w/ extra pair of 4CX-800A's
- QRO TEC has a reputation for overbuilding their amplifiers and this is no exception. It runs 3.3 kV on a pair of 4CX800A tetrodes and has about 17 dB gain on twenty meters since 20 watts input will provide a solid kilowatt output. Suffice it to say you could easily get illegal with this amplifier and although it would do it, I obviously do not recommend it. The amp comes with a spare pair of tubes that have been recently "gettered" and are 100 %. Current limited LED "festoon" meter illumination lamps are installed which should last "forever". All USA made with a b i g bandswitch, Pi-L output and two Peter Dahl transfomers. The HV XFMR is the biggest I've seen in a HAM HF amp. Lots of safety circuitry for over-load etc. will protect it. I'd really like to keep it but I simply don't have the room. Shipping would be a shock, but I can meet a reasonable distance from the northern Virginia area or, if pre-paid, I can deliver to Dayton or local 'fest's. $2800

- QRO 2500DX very nice amplifier in excellent condition not a mark on it and legal limit with 35 watts…. The tubes in the amplifier only a few years old .. 4cx800s … pick up in southern Indiana due to the size and weight. 2350.00 for the amplifier…. I also have a matching set of new 4cx800s tubes I’ll sell for 800 bucks.
