Backup memory battery (quarter size CR3032 with solder tabs) is located behind the display panel, held in place by adhesive and difficult to remove. I tried fitting a new battery to the inside of the cover, running leads to the solder pins but battery discharged. Also, a tiny machine screw for the front panel may have wedged under the PC board.
