MISC - Parts kit Doug DeMaw 3 band VFO This is a bag of parts to build A 3 band Analog VFO, which was featured in January 1980 QST by Doug DeMaw. I believe this was sold by Dan’s Small Parts, and sat unbuilt in a plastic bag till now. The uses 3 transistors, a variable capacitor for tuning, and is built Manhattan style on a “universal” ARRL PCB board as seen in picture. Comes with copy of QST article and numerous sealed bags with caps, restistors , semiconductors, hardware, inductors etc. you provide the enclosure and connectors/knobs. Note no vernier dial included. I have built this VFO circuit, and still have it, one of my many QRP projects. The original design was for 80/40/20 m but you could modify for 10 mhz.
